Quincy Jones Says Michael Jackson Didn't Want to be Black

In a recent interview with Details magazine, Michael Jackson’s long-time producer and friend Quincy Jones opened up about a number of intimate subjects regarding to the King of Pop.

Jones tackled a slew of Jackson-related topics including the time Michael’s famous chimp pal Bubbles violently bit his daughter Rashida Jones. Quincy told Details that “Michael used to bring Muscles (MJ’s boa constrictor) and Bubbles by the house all the time” and that Bubbles even bit a hole in his daughter's hand. Bubbles is no joke!

The most interesting chunk of the piece had to be when the interviewer started asking questions about Michael’s odd appearance:

Q: But it must've been so disturbing to see Michael's face turn into what it turned into.
A: It's ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don't understand it. But he obviously didn't want to be black.
Q: Is that what it was?
A: Well, what do you think? You see his kids?

Hot damn, Quincy! Don’t hold back, buddy.

    Quincy Jones has no idea what he is talking about, making comments about Micheal Jackson¿s Vitiligo. I have Vitiligo and guess where it started. On my hand! If I could have gotten away with wearing one glove, I would have. My Doctor¿s advice was to keep your skin as light/white as possible so the effects don¿t show up as badly. (Perhaps you understand his umbrellas now.) There is no cure. Quincy Jones would do himself some good if he looked into the disease before insulting his ¿friend¿ publicly. And also insulting everyone else who understood Michael¿s struggle.

    These comments are from a man who never dated or married a black woman in his adult life. Every woman Quincy Jones has dealt with has had blue eyes and blonde hair.

    I think he was aiming for another message , think about it , he wanted a little of every culture possible . He said it didnt matter what color your skin was . Whether it was a condition which a friend of mine has or a man who is first at doing lots of things who knows we will never know . God Bless

    Quincy I am a strong African-American women, I used to like you and make excuses for you. When you dropped your color and went straight for white women. It is obvious that you couldn't handle a strong black woman. You, I am sure has made plenty of money off of Michael, but you waited until his passing to insult him. I am grateful that he was not here to witness your betrayal. I have faith enough to know that Michael is with angels and is no longer in pain. The pain physical and emotional that some members of society had placed on him throughout his life. I am sure that heaven welcomes him as he ask God to forgive you and others. If you noticed that I didn't call you Mr. Quincy Jones, I know you remember "Backstabbers" you wear it well brother. You have shown the world what a coward you are.

    Well, all of Quincy's four wives are white, so I guess he should know. Thankfully, people who really knew Michael, like Deepak Chopra, who is a physician, confirmed Michael suffered from a skin disease and Lupus.     I don't know why yall have to say douce bag and stupid shit like that. It makes you sound like you are ignorant. Anyway, I'm not black, but even though Quincy likes white women, it still doesn't mean he wishes he was white. Maybe those white women like black men. So, if he was white, they wouldn't like him. Now to change the color of your skin, well, that is a whole different story.
    Michael did not like the shell God gave him, and damn what a cute shell it was too. Yeh, he turned crazy, but we can't judge him, just like I don't want some one to judge me, I'm crazy too in my own way. Only if you have lived in someone's shoes can you actually say how you would be.

    Seems like Quincy, just as Prince, is jealous of Michael's attention, and celebrity. Quincy Jones is just another very talented old fool. In my dad's, and some of his friend's declining years, they also became these old mumbling jealous, and contankerous idiots. They are from a different era. An era where they had to struggle to get the acknowledgment they deserved. Some never did, but that doesn't mean they can push onto another generation the same kind of struggle and unhappiness that they have had to live with. If it weren't for Michael, lots of people would not even know who QJ is! How does Jones get the idea that Michaels kids should have been darker. His kids, and there are more than one, could pass for White. What makes him different from Michael? Does he think that because he is a shade lighter that his children are entitled to look White? Maybe I'm wrong but upon the examination of his association that he professes to have had with Michael Jackson, it amounts to possible love, but borders on envy, and ridicule of MJ.

    I happen to actually agree with Quincy, Every thing he said I always thought about over the years.Sure his vitaligo is medically documented but beside the skin changes came physical feature changes. Quincy ought to know he been around MJ in the highlight of his career (the wiz,off the wall, thriller, and bad) He seen first hand the changes. Mike is in the guinnes book of world records for his humanitarianism, and his albums. But they need to add the first human being ever to PAY 8 million dollars for his wife to have children that is not his and the children are all WHITE. If he was proud to be black. Why was he constantly say it doesn't matter if you're black or white but every time you see him is more closely associated with whites. It doesn't matter if your black or white but your BEST friend is Liz Taylor, Liza Minelli and little white child from home alone. I really didn't see MJ around afrian Americans until he was accused of child molestation. That's when he hauled ass back to the black community like OJ and when he was acquitted he went back to his old self just like OJ did. That's why mike is not here with us todayd and OJ is either going to die in jail or get out when he's in his eighties because denying yourself in this society is very dangerous psychologically. Again he says it doesn't matter if your black or white but all 3 of his kids are white. Its obvious it matters he wants to be white or have a problem with being black because numerous other celebrities not only have one or two children of their own but they adopt children of other cultures as well. Angelina and Brad has their own plus one black one asian, jane fonda has a black daughter, madonna adopted black child, tom cruise has a black son and two other adopted children these are just to name a few . I am a beloved fan. But I will NEVER be fake. I keep it real. MJ had a problem with being black among other things as well but denying your identity will make you crazy. I am not mad a Quincy for

    Quincy you are some kind of a man. You don't know the first thing about being being with a black women. Mr. I want a white women. You was some kind of friend , Black or white mj was more man than you will ever dream of. How can you, of all men, make such assumption about someone, that for many years. That you made music and money with. In your life time of marriages and relationship your world,and your heart, has only open to the white female.
