I hope you do 'the Hitchhiker'. One of my favorite series besides 'Tales from the Crypt'.

I understand you don't like to give spoilers but your killing the review by doing so, I really want to hear the reasons WHY you like the episodes. Its almost like you just say "I like this one" without out a reason. But anyway, good review James.

Totally loved the cameos in this show. William Hickey, Tim Stack, Kyle McLaughlin (whom I just call Agent Cooper), Bobcat. I remember Roger Daltry being in one also. And let's not forget the frequent appearances by William Sadler (who plays the exact same character as he did in the Bill & Ted sequel). I never got to see these uncensored, so I feel like I may have missed out on some of the really gross stuff.

I gotta say, that's an awesome Top Ten. Now I wanna buy the DVDs. LoL My #1 favorite is the comic book one. Where the guy draws a comic and later it comes to life. It was more funny than horror but the monsters were really cool. It's stars Harry Anderson, the judge from the 80s sitcom Night Court.

Does the kirk douglas episode seem like a "Paths of Glory" rip off?

It's probably not a ripoff, more like a tribute. I don't think Robert Zemeckis and kirk douglas would be doing a ripoff. But it is exactly like the movie. But I would consider it a tribute.

Hey James there was a few that I like Creep Course with Anthony Michael Hall about a mummy, Split Second about a jealous lumberjack husband, Spoiled about a jealous husband who is a surgeon, and there was one with Andrew McCarthy that was one of the best I seen when he give a potion to this women who he likes and he can't seem to get rid of her after that he kills himself only to find out that was a bad idea.

James, thanks a lot for showing this top 10 Tales of the Crypt, its awsome it brought back so much memories of that show it just makes me want to re-see it all again!!! all the episodes you mentioned I remember them well even how they ended, specially the one you liked the most.
Even at the end they keep on playing with out arms or legs lol dammit I curse you know I wanna see this show again!!! XD
Why dont they show re-runs of this show again! >< stupid crappy cable!! XD
Anyways thanks a lot man for taking me down a great memory-lane of my childhood seeing this shows every Friday night I believe... I dont remember well what day they used to pass it on, Maybe it was Saturday night at 9-10pm on HBO ^^

Here in Mexico the only way to watch them was on Satelite TV (without subs) or on VHS, I loved the few episodes I got to watch (on hotels while on summer vacations or in my VCR,) they finally made it to open TV at the end of the 90's but they were censored, dubbed episodes from the last seasons. Anyway I must say my favorite is the one about the guy with a cat implant that gave him many lives.
The story about the Slasher Santa ringed familiar, but it's only because a few months I watched the Amicus Tales form the Crypt from the early 70's.

Good video, as always James. The one with the marionette puppet really f***** me up when I was a kid. That was one of the few times I remember being scared like that.
While I understand that these are your PERSONAL favorites, it still find it crazy that you couldn't find a place for "you, Murderer', It had Humphrey Bogart in it for Christ's sakes!
